Born in Iran, Alireza currently lives in Vienna. He studied Theatre Directing at the Art University of Tehran before immigrating to Austria to pursue his New Media projects in the Master's program in Interface Cultures at Linz University of Arts and Design. He is the Artistic Director of the Tree Theater Group and the curator of the Score to Do project, in collaboration with the Reconnect Online Performance Festival.
Alireza’s work focuses on the intersections between disciplines, exploring liminal spaces and post-dramatic theatre. His interdisciplinary practice incorporates performance art and text-based art, emphasizing connections between different mediums.
